Danté Roze

Recently discovered working a retail store in Chicago by celebrity Actor/Director Mario Van Peebles, Danté Roze was astonished to know that he'd somehow captured Mario's attention by merely welcoming him into the store. After a brief conversation, Peebles asked to snap a few cell phone pics of this fresh-faced employee and was well on his way. It wasn't long before Roze received a strange call at work stating he'd been hand-picked to work alongside Terrance Howard, Taraji P. Henson and many other stars in the new hit TV series "Empire".

But the dream didn't begin there for this talented youngster. Danté Roze has also been seen on another familiar TV series "MTV's Making the Band" where he became one of the 50 finalists in a competitive realm to become a member of Sean "Diddy" Combs's boy band "Day 26". So this guy is no newbie to the entertainment side of things. By the age of 3, Danté Roze already knew what he wanted to do with himself, he wanted to sing! So he committed to spending the rest of his days singing to anyone that would listen. After winning numerous singing competitions around his hometown of Chicago, young Roze made a promise to his mother to move her and his 5 siblings out of the hood. It wasn't long before he made his own escape and moved to Hollywood to pursue music & acting. After years of living & working as a struggling musician on the streets of LA, he got a call that his mom was terminally ill. Quickly he dropped everything and moved back home to tend to his sick mother, putting a pause on all of those big dreams.

Surprisingly, that wasn't the end of the road for this ball of passion. While working a 9-5 retail job he was discovered in his own home town by movie director Mario Van Peebles and the rest is history! While working as an actor Roze found time to release his first pop/rock hit single "Hold On To You" (now on itunes). Danté Roze transcends race, music genre and type-casting with his music being so current, modern and unapologetically raw. Now 26yrs old, Danté Roze is more ready than ever to become a household name. Much success is predicted for this young man as he owns this hopeless romantic bad-boy sound, and his fearless knack for acting.
